
A quick and easy grilled classic oozing with pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and tangy sauce.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of marble rye or pumpernickel bread
- 6 slices of beef pastrami OR corned beef
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 3/4 cup wine sauerkraut, squeezed to remove brine
- 3 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructionsy:
- Butter 1 side of each bread slice and place 2 slices butter side down in cold nonstick skillet.
- Start assembling each of the two bread slices in the pan with the pastrami, wine sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing and Swiss cheese.
- Top with the remaining 2 bread slices, butter side up and grill each side for 3 minutes on medium heat or until golden brown.
Serve with a side of pickles and enjoy!
